Coaches and Managers
A big thank you to all of our parents who volunteer to coach and/or manage our teams. We encourage parents and senior players to take on the role of coach or manager and would also like parents to volunteer as a manager for their child's team. Teams without a coach or manager will not be able to enter the competition. All parents working with teams are required to complete and submit a Working with Children form.

Domestic Competition Information and Costing.
The following is the information regarding the domestic competition in which we will be entering. These are guides only:

  • Basketball training will be held on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at Sportz Central, Bray St, Coffs Harbour.

  • Parents must collect their children promptly at 5.00pm.

  • There are two separate competitions each year. These will be billed and treated as separate. The competition games fees are $60.00 per team per game. There is also a nomination fee per team of $40.00. There are approximately 15 games per competition including semis and finals.

  • Each player will be billed at $160.00 per competition. This will be billed in separate amounts of $80.00 each term, covering the cost of court fees, nomination fees, training, resources and forfeits. These fees are set by the CHBA and are paid through the College.

  • There will be a bus from the College to the stadium in 2012 at a cost of $4.00 per week.

  • In addition to the fees charged by the College, all players must register with the NSW Basketball Association in order to play in the local competition. This can be done at the Basketball Office at Sportz Central and is valid for 12 months. The cost of this is $60.00 for Primary and $65.00 for Secondary.

  • BDC singlets will be given to team managers to distribute when teams have been submitted. Singlets must be returned at the conclusion of the competition.

We are looking forward to our involvement in BDC Basketball in 2012. We welcome all of your suggestions and ideas in the coming year and hope you have a fun and enjoyable time.
