Welcome to Information Services
The Library offers a wide range of resources, services and facilities that support teaching and learning in Bishop Druitt College from K-12.
The Library provides resources and a comfortable environment for:
- Information - especially to assist with research assignments
- Literacy and wide reading
- Personal development
- Interest and recreation
The Library can also provide assistance with research skills, assignment preparation and Internet use. Our facilities include:
- Books for information, research and recreational reading
- Periodicals for interest, information, issues and current affairs
- Videos, talking books and CD Roms
- Computers for access to files, preparation of assignments, CD ROM, Internet, multimedia and editing digital video
- Areas for reading and study
- Photocopying and printing
- Teacher resources and textbooks
- Displays of students' work
You are most welcome to visit the Library from 8.00am until 4.30pm excluding Morning Recess, Monday to Friday. We also welcome students, parents and friends who can volunteer some of their time to help us with our many tasks.
