Parents & Friends

The Bishop Druitt College Parents and Friends Association is an organisation that supports the aims and objectives of the College. It does so through the promotion of fundraising, fellowship, friendship and fun.

Meetings

All general meetings are held in the Senior Student Common Room, commencing at 6.30 pm on the third Monday of each month (except in school or public holidays). Everyone is welcome, but to vote on motions individuals must be a member of the Association.

Membership

Application forms for membership are available via the link below and from the Front Office and Canteen. Membership is free and voting rights commence one meeting after application.

Fundraising Activities

The Association raises funds for the College through various means, including the Melodrama, 100 Club Raffle, The Golf Day, the Village Fair and most importantly, the College Canteen.

Events

All events, dates and venues will be advised in the College Newsletter and via the College website. Events include the fundraising activities listed above, along with the Mothers’ Day Stall (May), the Fathers’ Day Stall (September) and the College Community Carols Evening and Anglicare Toys ‘n’ Tucker Appeal (November).

The Parents and Friends Association are a warm and supportive group and all parents are encouraged to become involved.

Great schools harness the aspirations and achievements of all. At Bishop Druitt College, staff, students and parents all have a role to play in achieving this goal.
