Years 9–10 (Stage 5)
In Years 9–10, students continue to study a strong core curriculum while developing increased independence and responsibility for their learning, supported by clear structure and regular teacher guidance.

- Religion, Ethics and Philosophy
In addition to these core subjects, BDC Horizon Online offers a range of self-paced elective courses that students may complete alongside their core studies. These electives allow students to explore personal interests, develop applied skills, or extend learning in specific areas, while maintaining a manageable and well-structured workload.
Years 11–12 (HSC / Stage 6)
Our senior program provides flexibility without compromising academic rigour. All courses align with NSW NESA Stage 6 requirements and are delivered by experienced specialist teachers.
HSC subjects currently offered include:
- English (Advanced, Standard, Studies)
- Mathematics (Standard, Advanced, Extension 1*)
- Biology (this subject contains a compulsory practical component)
- Geography (this subject contains a compulsory practical component, mandatory fieldwork)
- Agriculture (this subject contains a compulsory practical component at the Bishop Druitt College farm Farnworth in Glenreagh)
- Ancient History
- Modern History
- Legal Studies

- Health and Movement Science (HMS)

Students selecting courses with compulsory NESA practical components should expect to do short residentials at our Bishop Druitt College, Coffs Harbour, campus throughout the year (3-4 days per practical subject per year). Subject offerings and courses running are dependent on student enrolment numbers.
