Outdoor Education News: A Dynamic Start to 2026 and Exciting Adventures Ahead

The first weeks of our Outdoor Education programs have been busy and productive as we prepare students for an exciting year of learning beyond the classroom.

Year 7 students are away this week at Great Aussie Bush Camp, enjoying a jam-packed four days of fun, relationship-building, and new experiences.

Preparations are also progressing for Year 11 to Camp Kokoda, the pinnacle experience of our Outdoor Education program. This challenging and rewarding adventure supports leadership development, personal growth, and reflection as students prepare for their senior years.

We have also held student information sessions for the 2026 Snow Sports program at Perisher, providing students with an overview of expectations, travel arrangements, and on-snow activities. Interest has been strong, and we look forward to another fantastic alpine program.

This term, we are focused on enrolling new students (14 years and older) in the Duke of Edinburgh program. Information has been uploaded to Schoolbox for general viewing, and students are welcome to make enquiries.

A reminder to families that camp invitations must be accepted via Parent Lounge, and that the Schoolbox Outdoor Education page is your central hub for all camp updates, key dates, and Outdoor Education news.

As we all gather and stand upon Country, may we acknowledge and respect Gumbaynggirr Land and the thousands of years’ worth of both physical and spiritual connection to Country, culture and teachings embedded forever within these Lands.
