Students participate in a combination of live online lessons, guided learning activities, and independent study. Depending on their year level, students usually have live sessions each week supported by expert teachers and personalised learning resources.

Whether a student requires greater flexibility, is balancing sport or the arts, lives in regional NSW, or simply learns best in a different setting, BDC Horizon Online provides personalised support and flexible learning pathways to help them succeed.

BDC Horizon Online provides online education for students in Years 7–12, including a senior secondary program that prepares students for the NSW Higher School Certificate (HSC). 

Yes. BDC Horizon Online is part of Bishop Druitt College and delivers programs aligned with NSW curriculum requirements. Its senior program is delivered as a NESA-registered Distance Education provider. 

Yes. BDC Horizon Online offers a senior learning program for Years 11 and 12, with HSC courses delivered by specialist teachers and aligned with NSW curriculum and assessment requirements. 

Yes. Student wellbeing is supported through tutor chats, wellbeing check-ins, digital mentoring, and access to the Horizon Hub, helping students stay connected and supported throughout their learning journey.

Students in Years 7–12 who have a residential address in New South Wales can apply. The enrolment process includes an application, an interview with the Head of School, and a review to ensure the program is the right fit for the student. 

Tuition fees for BDC Horizon Online vary depending on the student’s year level and enrolment requirements. Fees are charged per term.
