We invite you and your family to a fun-filled evening at our annual Sundowner event held on Wednesday, 11 February 2026 from 4:30pm to 6:30pm at the BDC Adventure Playground!

This exciting event is an opportunity for new and returning families to connect, mingle, and celebrate the start of another amazing year at our college. It’s a great way to meet fellow BDC families, enjoy the outdoors, and kick off the school year.

What to expect:

• Bring your picnic rugs, chairs, food, drinks, and anything you need to relax and enjoy a lovely evening outdoors.
• Our Canteen has delicious picnic platters available for pre-order on Flexischools, including gluten-free options. Order by Monday 9 February at 1pm and pick up your platters from the Canteen on the afternoon of the event before 5:30pm.
• Enjoy a selection of soft drinks and flavoured waters available at no charge.
• The kids can enjoy the Jumping Castle Slide and explore the Adventure Playground.
• Ample parking will be available on-site in our open car parks.
