Academic Scholarships

Bishop Druitt College aims to provide the best platform for each student to gain the knowledge and skills to prepare them to enter a world full of exciting challenges.

Applications for academic scholarships commencing in 2027 are closed. Applications for academic scholarships commencing in 2028 will open in Term 3 2026.

The scholarships are awarded on the basis of a competitive examination conducted by ACER which takes place at Bishop Druitt College in February each year. Scholarships are awarded by the Principal. The Executive Assistant is the point of contact for academic scholarship applications.

Process: ACER examination

Award: full or partial

Specific conditions:

  • Students are expected to maintain a high average academic performance level.
  • Students are expected to fully support the ethos and expectations of the college.
  • Students are expected to actively participate in the life of the college, both curricular and co-curricular.

Bishop Druitt College offers scholarships at the following three levels:

Level 1

Designed for students entering NSW Year 7 or Year 8 in the following year.

Level 2

Designed for students entering NSW Year 9 or Year 10 in the following year.

Level 3

Designed for students entering NSW Year 11 or Year 12 in the following year.

Applying for an Academic Scholarship

When the scholarship opens at the end of Term 3 2026 applications will be made by clicking on the registration link that will be added here at that time. Student selection will be based on the examination results.
