Year 12 University Early Entry Offers
University early entry offers are starting to arrive, and we extend a huge congratulations to our graduating Class of 2026!
So far, 31 students have received early offers from universities including the University of Newcastle, University of New England, Charles Sturt University and the University of New South Wales through its Gateway Program. Further offer rounds will be released in October, and we look forward to celebrating more student success.
Students who receive an offer are reminded to carefully read their offer letter and accompanying emails, as some offers are conditional on completing the HSC, achieving a minimum subject band or meeting a required ATAR. Continuing to maintain strong study habits and HSC preparation remains important.
If you have applied for early entry and are still waiting, don’t worry! Universities have different offer rounds and timelines, so make sure you check upcoming dates and application closing dates.
We are proud to see success across many different pathways, including university, full-time employment, gap years, Defence and apprenticeship opportunities. Success looks different for every student, and we are excited to celebrate all of our Class of 2026 graduates and the pathways they choose.
Year 10 Career Exploration (Work Experience) Week
Our Year 10 students will undertake Career Exploration (Work Experience) Week from 23–27 November (Week 7, Term 4).
This is a valuable opportunity to experience the world of work, develop employability skills and explore potential future pathways.
Students are encouraged to find a meaningful placement that connects with their interests, strengths, skills, personality or possible career pathways. It doesn’t need to be their “dream career” — it could be an opportunity to explore an industry, test an interest, develop new skills or discover something unexpected.
Students received their Work Experience Packs during their Year 10 Career Days in Term 3, with information also emailed to students and families. Students who successfully self-source and organise their placement and complete the required follow-up activities will have the opportunity to earn digital badges recognising their initiative and career-readiness skills.
Students considering placements in construction or the trades should also be aware that a White Card may be required before undertaking work experience on a construction site.
We encourage students to start planning early and make the most of this opportunity to learn more about themselves and the world of work.
