Academic Scholarships

'Bishop Druitt College aims to provide the best platform for each student to gain the knowledge and skills to prepare them to enter a world full of exciting challenges.'

Applications for academic scholarships commencing in 2022 have now closed. Applications for academic scholarships commencing in 2023 will open in Term 4 2021. The scholarships are awarded on the basis of a competitive examination conducted by ACER. Scholarships are awarded by the Principal.

Academic scholarships are open to both new and current students. The Executive Assistant is the point of contact for academic scholarship applications.

Specific conditions considered in the yearly review include the following:

  • Students are expected to maintain a high average academic performance level.
Bishop Druitt College offers scholarships at the following three levels:
Level 1

Designed for students entering NSW Year 7 or Year 8 in the following year.

Level 2

Designed for students entering NSW Year 9 or Year 10 in the following year.

Level 3

Designed for students entering NSW Year 11 or Year 12 in the following year.

Applying for an Academic Scholarship

If you would like your child to take the scholarship test please apply by taking the registration link that will be available when applications open in Term 4 this year and following the ACER CSTP registration procedure. Student selection will be based on the examination results.

Academic Scholarship tests

The next testing for academic scholarships will be held at Bishop Druitt College in February 2022. The test begins at 9.00 am and finishes at approximately 12.00 pm. Students are requested to be at the college by 8.45 am. The fee for the scholarship test is $120.00.
