Wednesday, 08 Jun 2022

Bryn started at BDC in Year 7 and achieved many accolades including being in the winning Christian Rock Eisteddfod group in 2004, participating in the Tournament of the Minds from 2004 to 2007, gaining honours in the Literature section, playing the part of Prince Chululongkorn in the 2006 production of “The King and I”. Bryn was very athletic, representing the college at in-state cross-country and all-schools golf competition.

In a 2015 interview, Bryn said, “I have been performing since I was four years old, starting in dancing and singing, and moving onto acting at the age of ten. Since high school I have performed professionally for over a decade and have been in over ten musicals in that time including Jersey Boys at Spotlight Theatre in 2020! I have always loved musical theatre and felt that that is where my passion lies.”

He was awarded Best Actor in a leading role in a community theatre Musical or Musical Revue in Spotlight’s Gold Palm Theatre Awards in 2021.

Bryn featured in “High School Musical” at the Spotlight Theatre in 2015 as a lead singer.

From 2018 to 2020, Bryn was cruise director aboard the Oceania Regatta cruise ship where he hosted a show “The Music of Me”. He is currently the Senior Sales Representative at a Real Estate agency in Queensland.

“The Gold Coast production of ”Jersey Boys”, hit the stage at The Star Gold Coast earlier this year featuring Bryn Jenke. It’s the story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons' rise to the pinnacle of popular music and in the role of Frankie, Bryn is brilliant – a triple threat with good looks! He has a wonderful voice which he uses to recreate the Valli sound. “

The Empire Theatres are thrilled to announce an incredibly talented line-up of performers who will take on the legendary music of Queen in the 2022 blockbuster jukebox musical, “We Will Rock You.” Leading the cast as the rebellious Galileo is Surfer’s Paradise performer, Bryn Jenke will come to the Empire Theatre fresh from his current role as a Frankie Valli in Jersey Boys on the Gold Coast.

Touted as being edgy, bold and a little bit cheeky, Sideshow is a series of musical and theatre performances hosted late on Friday and Saturday nights at The Arts Centre Gold Coast starring Bryn during 2022.
