As the winter sporting seasons prepare to kick off, BDC Barracudas is excited to showcase a new on-field look for the Club and announce new sponsors to support the Club in 2023 and beyond.

The new uniforms are designed to create not only a greater impact on-field but a continuity of design across the Club’s participation sports - which currently includes football, rugby, and basketball, with plans to expand into new sports in 2023.

Already the Club has record registrations for football and rugby for the 2023 seasons and is expecting a bumper participation year.

“This is an exciting time for the BDC Barracudas - the Club is experiencing fantastic growth across all of our sports, and we are investing in our players, our volunteer coaches, and overall club infrastructure,” said Mr Nick Johnstone, Club President.

The Club will be expanding the rugby program in 2023 to include under-16s and girls teams, with a focus on developing coaching skills, strength and conditioning programs, and specialist training clinics for players. Football will continue to focus on skill development at early participation level, alongside building coaching and training capabilities for young players.

“The Club continues to go from strength to strength with our on-field performance, and ability to deliver a great experience for our players and volunteer coaches,” said Mr Johnstone.

“We couldn’t do it without the support of the Coffs Harbour business community, and we are excited to have Bishop Druitt College and McGrath Real Estates continue as founding supporters of the club. We also would like to welcome new sponsors Lite Moves, Award European, Signarama, and Tee Pee Events to the Club in 2023 and beyond.”
