University of Newcastle Information Evening
The University of Newcastle held an information evening recently at the Coffs Harbour Golf Club for interested students and parents. This was a fantastic session and opportunity for students and parents to meet with the Future Students team and ask questions. This event was the first of its kind in our region for the University of Newcastle and it was great to see so many BDC students and families attend!
For anyone who missed the session we recommend you register for and attend the online webinar for students and parents. A variety of topics will be covered such as early entry applications, pathway options, scholarship and on-campus accommodation information. This online webinar will be held from 6:00pm - 7:00pm on Tuesday the 24th of June. Register via this link: University of Newcastle Information Evening Webinar
Australian Defence Force Careers Visit
The Australian Defence Force careers team visited BDC recently and spoke to interested students, covering a range of topics such as careers available in the defence force, the recruitment processes, requirements and other information such as defence gap years.
Students from years 7 to 11 were in attendance and asked many questions! If you missed out on this event and have some questions, there is a pop up Australian Defence Force information hub located at the Coffs Harbour Jetty. You will be able to meet and chat with members of the Defence Force until August.
