Welcome back to Term 4! We concluded Term 3 with a range of events and success in HSC Major Works with announcements of HSC Showcase nominations across all courses, Music, Dance and Drama. This is an outstanding recognition of our HSC cohort and teachers who have supported these students on their journey. Well done.
At the conclusion of Term 3, all equipment was moved from M Block to the new music building, located next to the Dance Studio and ROC near Parent Pick Up. Day 1 of this term saw all music classes being taught in this new space. Thank you to Monica from Teepees and Events who kindly donated a welcome sign and balloon display. There will be a formal opening of the building on Friday 21st November.
Instrumental tuition pods are still being finalised. This unfortunately has meant that our teaching studios have not been accessible and tuition spaces have been created around the school to accommodate our music staff and ensure as much tuition can continue as possible. Music tutors have been given a range of spaces for their lessons which they will be communicating to their parents and students. Thank you to the various areas around the College who have allowed tuition to occur in their spaces and for teaching staff to accommodate this. Tuition pods will be completed during the term and students and parents will be notified of this when they are complete. Thank you for your patience and understanding in this process.
Thank you to Adelaide Robinson (Year 9) and Matthew Healy (Year 10) who performed at the Year 12 Service on Day 1 of Term 4 at St John’s Anglican Church.
