Swimming Carnival

Last week saw our Primary Swimming carnival take place at Coffs Harbour Memorial Pool.  It was great to see all of our students get into the house spirit and cheer their team home.  A carnival at the start of the year can be an anxious event, let alone when you have just started at a new school.  However, it was wonderful to see all of our new BDC friends get into the spirit of the day and become a part of the college.

Maths Pathway Information Evening

Maths Pathway is a wonderful tool which we use in Years 5 to 9.  It is used to compliment our already successful mathematics program and support student growth, enjoyment and personalisation.  If your child is in Years 5 or 6, please log in to Schoolbox to view some short videos to help explain Maths Pathway and its function here at BDC.  Your child’s classroom teacher will speak to you more about Maths Pathway at the Parent Teacher Interview later this term.
