2025 Squash Tournament

On Wednesday 15th October, BDC competed in the local Secondary Schools Squash Tournament, entering three teams.

The Opens Team consisted of Oliver Thompson, Lior Daley, Oliver Studdert, and Hugo Harriman. Our Opens Team finished third out of four teams, with Hugo winning two of his three matches.

BDC entered two teams in the Under 15s Competition. The BDC 1 team consisted of Jillian Gibson, Dylan Hannaford, Lani Parsons, and Isaac Powell. Jillian and Isaac were undefeated. The BDC 2 team consisted of Joshua Wing, Manat Singh, Finn Kahler, and Liam O'Hare. Finn was recognised as the Most Improved player.

Our BDC 1 team finished second out of three teams, going down to the eventual winners, JPC, after the matches were drawn and losing by one game on a countback. The BDC 2 team finished third, but their match against BDC 1 was tied on matches and games won. It went to a countback, where BDC 1 won by just four points.

Overall, all players had a great day and displayed excellent sportsmanship, representing BDC with pride.
